S7000 Power SuppliesBranson's Series 7000 solid state ultrasonic power supplies combine the economy
of standardization with the flexibility of modular design. Used on a simple cleaning tank or with immersible transducers, Series 7000
Ultrasonic Power Supplies will deliver precision cleaning quickly, consistently, and be cost effective.
MODULARITY FOR SYSTEM FLEXIBILITYIndividual
S-7000 power supplies are housed in their own portable enclosures and connected by RF cable to either a Branson tank or immersible
transducer pack. In combination, these components form a complete, specialized S-7000 ultrasonic cleaning system, offering the
economy of standardization with the flexibility of modular design.
Internal modularity of the Series 7000 power supply allows individual
units to power 6 to 48 transducers (in multiples of 6) in your choice of 25 or 40 kHz output frequencies.
STANDARD FEATURES
- Electrical
System -
All Series 7000 power supplies meet CSA Code and are equipped with RFI filters to meet radio frequency interference
standards. Each power supply is fuse-protected against malfunctions and line voltage surges. These power supplies are available with
operating voltages to meet most requirements.
- Simple operation -
Power supply has on/off switch with pilot light.
- Broad emperature
range -
Operates in ambient temperatures from 35 F to 110F (1.70C to 43C).
- Air-cooled -
Cooling fan permits continuous power supply
operation.
S7000 Ultrasonic Tanks
CLEANING TANKS
Branson manufactures five standard size transducerized tanks that range from
a 2.6 to a 41 gallon capacity (1 0 to 155 liters).
- All have drains for easy cleaning.
- Type 316L stainless steel construction
throughout permits the use of alkaline, mildly acidic or neutral aqueous solutions.
- Branson tanks are available with or without
integral heaters.
- The heated models maintain solution temperatures from ambient to 180F (82C) thermostatically.
- All models are
available with a stainless steel parts basket and/or tank cover.
STANDARD FEATURES
Bottom-mounted positive drain connection.
Fully shielded
internal components. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Stainless steel parts basket for handling convenience.
Stainless steel tank cover.
NUMBERING
SYSTEM
Each Branson tank has a model number which contains important information to guide the selection of a properly rated
companion power supply.
For example: SH1012-40-12
This model number, stamped on the tank nameplate, indicates whether the tank has
a heater (S = unheated, SH = heated), the width of the tank in inches, left to right (1 0"), the length of the tank in inches, front
to back (1 2"), the operating frequency (40 kHz) and the number of attached piezo transducer elements (1 2).
POWER SUPPLY SELECTION
FOR CLEANING TANKS
To select the correct power supply for your cleaning tank, add the total number of transducer elements involved
by using the information from the model number as explained. Then select a power supply whose last two numbers exactly match the number
of transducer elements by referring to the power supply specification chart.
